a most excellent morning
It's just 7 in the morning and it's going to be a good day. I had a second interview yesterday with a company that I had interviewed with 3.5 weeks ago. A week ago I had given up hope that I was in the running because I hadn't heard anything from them, but Tuesday afternoon (3 weeks to the day from the original interview) I got a call that they wanted a second interview. I think the interview went well yesterday. We shall see what comes in the next week. So after a positive interview, I stopped at the grocery store and picked up some salmon and a few other things and came home to throw it on the grill. Yum, grilled, smoked salmon (I used some wood chips while it was cooking). Because the weather has been gorgeous (in the low 70's), I sat outside with the dogs while it was cooking and talked to a friend. I slept very well last night and woke up about 6:15 feeling rested. I've got the weekend off and am planning on doing a little retail therapy (I need to get material to make a quilt for my god-daughter) and then come home and work on my brick walkway. The good weather is supposed to continue. Hello open windows, clothes drying on the clothes line and mosquitoes.
