Like Sands through an Hourglass
So are the hairs on Finley Grace's head...Yep, it happened today. I know all kids do it. I did my hair and my sister's when I was little. Brayden has done it. But I was hoping that she would not. I have been letting her hair grow into a certain style that I always wanted for a little girl. Since she was bald for almost two years, it has taken forever!!She has looked so cute. We were still growing out her bangs but we were almost there. It was actually my fault. We went outside to cut some herbs for dinner. We came back in and she still had the scissors. She sat on the floor and was cutting paper. She showed me one paper she had cut and it was a recipe I had written down. I told her not to cut any paper that had Mommy's writing. Well, the phone rang and I got distracted. After I got off the phone, I asked her if she was cutting any more of my writing, she said, "No, I am cutting hair!!" At least she was minding right?!?!?It really isn't that bad. She is not bald or anything. Just looks like she has one group of layers on one side of her head!It is just validation that she is just like lots of other kids in the world. Next thing you know, she will be cutting Barbie's hair....
