I love the character of the mother; you reveal so much about her just by her actions and a few short lines. Jed's character, however, is still begging for more distinct characteristics -- why is he still living with his parents at 25? What kind of person lives with their parents still at 25, what is his background? These were all questions that came up in my head that underlined the conversation happening in the story.

I think you utilized the invisibility factor so beautifully and so tactfully -- I completely sympathize for Lindsay and she's barely in the story!
