Keey-Rist! she's getting chilly out, but that's okay, I'm safely bundled in my Leopard Print, Princess of the German Rhineland's throne, comforter listening to the new Weakerthans over and over again. It is their triumphant return to be more than amazing! Probably one of the best gifts I've ever received.

I've been applying for credit cards and been turned down at every step. Apparently I'm the one guy in the world who's not allowed to put himself into debt. Fear not gentle reader, for I will most certainly persevere in this endeavour. I don't just want this so that I can needlessly put myself into debt, I need it in order for my trip to Russia to go off without a hitch financially. I should be able to have $8000 for it if the credit card thing happens. And if not? ....I'm a little boned.

In good news: No much feared and threatened Conservative victory in the world of provincial politics. In bad news: the Liberals won a majority. Although a majority Liberal government is superior to a Conservative anything. I just can't help feeling a little bad for John Tory: poor guy didn't even win his own riding. I'm not even joking though. I feel pity for the poor bastard because his career is ruined...in politics only though. He'll probably just become a lobbyist for someone or some abstract concept, like emotions. My brain can'thelp thinking that maybe there was a reason he lost, not just because he wanted to bring private schools into the public. Most people who lose lose because some person doesn't want them to be the winner: like maybe he really would have been a good premier but some shadowy group of people didn't like his policy on something else beause it was actually good for people.....or maybe I'm just a raging paranoiac. Either way, a do nothing Liberal is always better than a Conservative who keeps his promises. I think that's because Conservative promises are always scary and harmful.

I think that I'm going to go draw a bath and do my homework while my feet prune up.
