I don't really know if I can take your word for that. If I'm to take anybody's word on this it will be Hollywood's, because I can't remember the last historically inaccurate movie they've made. So in the case of Indians v. Vikings I am going to have to submit the film Pathfinder. In it we see native village nearly destroyed by Viking raids, but since, as we know, Vikings are a blood thirty, war-mongering people, they forgot their tiny infant prince as they invariably moved on to sack and probably destroy another peoples. Go forward 20 some odd years and that Viking child has been raised by natives and the Vikings return. But what is it that saves the natives from near destruction....a Viking. That's right, the only thing more deadly than a group of Vikings is a single Prince Viking. It is almost as if Odin infused their blood with pure unadulterated awesomeness. I guess that I should make a point of saying that I never actually saw Pathfinder, so I used my imagination and filled in the gaps with what I could glean from the trailers, ( ... )
