I wonder if there's a way to find them before they hurt someone else, or if it's only clear when they're attacking.

Truth be told, each kind of creature leaves an energy signature whenever they use some kind of special power. It's a neat little trick I've picked up to avoid running into some of the tougher monsters.

I know at least ONE of these demon things is using some kind of otherworldly ability.
