I'm pleased you became caught up in the intensity because that's how I felt writing it. I tried to give it this feel of inevitability, as though their coming together was simply beyond their control, fated to happen, doomed though it was. I've also been reading some 18th century literature recently, which I think added to the melodrama of their encounter.

I LOVE the intensity and passion that came though in your fic - it made the hot that much hotter and the angst that much more aching. It hurts, but it hurts so good, you know? That heated intensity is perfect - it makes me think of a fire - hot and gorgeous to watch, but dangerous and capable of consuming everything in its path. Gorgeous!
