11: Electricity! [Voice]

Mar 22, 2010 23:24

Looks like 20th or 21st Century Earth technology, or something close to it. To those from worlds without electricity: Don't put anything in the sockets. They aren't dangerous as long as you know how to use them, so ask one of your neighbors for help.

I don't touch anything that involves electricity. But I figure out that it really important to us nowadays.

There's no need to worry. As long as you're careful, you won't get hurt.

That's pretty bad luck. How'd that happen?

Well, back in my world, there are many enemies who can cast electricity and it hurts sometimes.

I see. But electricity can do many things, it's more than just a weapon. And the wires are covered in rubber, which protects from electricity.

[He gives a space for Kurtis to enter the house.]

[Reaching into his fanny pack, he pulls out a small lamp.]

It's not too difficult. Just make sure you only put plugs into the sockets.

[To demonstrate, he plugs in the lamp and turns it on.]

See? Perfectly safe.

[Amuses after watches the demonstration.]

Whoa! It's really safe. So this plug protects us from the electric shock?

Exactly. As you can see, the entire cord is covered in rubber. Rubber resists electricity, so you don't get shocked when you touch it, even when the light is on.
