7: The Release [Action]

Dec 09, 2009 18:04

[It's time. Kurtis has had enough of letting Medic lose his sanity in that cell. He's gotten few objections, and even Klonoa is in favor of releasing him. So, Kurtis can be found walking toward the tunnels, or down in the tunnels as he opens the door to release Medic.]

*Medic barely lifts his head when he hears the sound of someone coming. He knows it's likely Patchouli, coming to put him through more mental torture. He looks a little bit surprised when he sees Kurtis*

...Hallo.

You're being released.

[Kurtis stands aside to let Medic out, though he assumes he'll probably gather his things first.]

*he seems a bit confused, but does gather up the things near him...his violin, his journal, and the sweets Souji gave him. He walks past Kurtis*

...Why am I being released?

[Kurtis follows him]

We can't keep you here forever. And in the end we're all on the same side. We need to focus on fighting the Malnosso, not each other.

But that doesn't mean you've been completely forgiven. Remember what we talked about before, I'm going to be keeping an eye on you.

Ja, ja...

*he sighs*

...At least the flashbacks have stopped.

...That is not important. There was just a...very trying time when I was younger.

I understand. I've been through some trials myself.

Hm...It did not help that Patchouli kept coming in and sitting near my cell every day to read horror stories.

[Kurtis stares in shock at Medic]

She did what!?

I will have to have a word with her...

Oh, ja. Und I doubt she will show any remorse for it...she would not leave until she felt like it.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. If I had known, I would have done something...

So long as something can still be done about it...

Of course. I'll make sure she stays away from you.

There might be others who aren't happy about your release, so be careful.
