The cycle of broken self esteem in interpersonal relationships begins with the female

God bless 2am balcony conversations.

Anyway, I'm trying to keep in contact with people/get people back in my life lately, so talking and planning with Natalia and Alicia has been therapeutic. I need to see Bryan, Jcarp, and Donna more, among others who I've been lazy to keep up with/are out of town. Some of which think I'm mad at them, but it's just summer, sorry we fell out of the loop.

I made myself available as a bone marrow donor last week, and almost couldn't because I'm an asthmatic, but I'm glad I finally went through with it. Cost me 25 dollars to register; no wonder so few do.

Went bowling with a Belgian girl today, she nearly kicked my ass one round and Heidi the next. Winning by 1 pin each time reminded me of Rocko's Modern Life. We got ice cream in the rain.

And tonight is the reason for this post, and now that I've finally posted something maybe I can get out of this existential funk and keep regular on LJ again (but probably not). I was walking down the street with Heidi, walking back from the Shell station with cigarettes and my chocolate bar, when I notice something very familiar. I'd remember that spine anywhere.

"Matt?"
-pause-
"Holy fuck, Danny? I'd hug you but I'm all sweaty"

I ran into motherfucking MATT (my awesome cousin for newer readers) who I haven't seen in forever. Turns out he was touring and playing at the Diyno House, approximately 3 scenesters houses away from our apartment. He was a little toasted, but goddamn was it nice to see him. Finished his flask of absinthe with him and shot the shit for a little while, and made plans to go to Cherokee Sink early in the morning if his band doesn't need to head to Tampa too soon. Good chance it'll fall through but either way, it was really nice to see Matt. Gonna try and get Joey to see him in central Florida tomorrow.

You guys should stop by the Tallahassee Museum tomorrow for Swamp Stomp and bug me and Natalia while we're helping out with it.

Mark, Mike, Heidi; here's to the right person. *flask of tequila*
