Well, the semester of classes is officially over. And i pulled thru with decent grades. I could have done better in one of my classes, but you live and learn, right? but, i am satisfied with completing my first semester of grad school and finally being able to move on to next semester. Hold on a tic, almost being able to move on to next semester. I still have a project that i started in the summer that i am trying to complete before the year end. so that means that i will probably be working a lot trying to finish this thing, but it's all good. i look forward to being able to focus more of my time on my master's project and getting thru with this school thing once and for all.
on a seperate note, i just got back from texas on sat. night from my great grandma's funeral. She went to the hospital a week before hand and they didnt say she would last the day, but she ended up staying with us almost another week. she was a very strong woman too. she was 97 when she died. which i can only hope i will live that long, especially with all the crazy things i do, but then again, you never know. she was an awesome person too, from what i remember of her from when i was younger, she had a very outgoing personality and was probably the nicest person i knew. she knew how to make people happy, which i admire a lot, and from what i heard at the funeral, she was an amazing cook. wish i could remember eating some of her food. lol. but it was good seeing the rest of the family i hadn't seen in awhile and being able to spend time with them. i love my family and am very grateful to have such a wonderful family.
other than that, i don't have much going on. i won a game of poker this weekend. $10, not bad. and i am trying to get geared up for christmas. busy busy busy.
