A panel from page 4 of this thing I'm working on, before text and post-production editing. Overall I really prefer understated horror, I think: seeing (or showing, in this case) the silent souvenirs of something nightmarish, such as a bloody handprint smeared on a windowsill, rather then how it got there. Leaving the details up to the imagination engages the senses. It's the same principle as lingerie.
I am really excited to get this thing done.
