Gellert Grindelwald sat by the barred window, looking out onto the barren autumn fields that stretched beyond the horizon. There hadn’t been much to look at for the past fifty-three years; today was no exception. He had taken to writing for a while, committing his ideas about “the greater good” to parchment (not his ideas actually but no one else would be taking credit). However, the writing had grown dull and left him with only the window. He paused; something was blowing across the fields. He couldn’t identify it at first but soon it became clear.
