We drinked the big vodka...

Oh wow... Just... Wow...

Yesterday was fantastic, random and filled with love, beer and mostly VODKA.

Here's how it all got started..

Whilst in Sydney I happened to come across a special that liquorland was having on a litre of vodka for $40... I mulled this over, and upon my return told Mr. Julian about my discovery.  It was at this point decided that said bottle must be aquired at all costs, and consumed in a night of drunken debauchery with music.

I went out, purchased the bottle and stored it for a few days.  In the interim, I finally poked Miss Bec to coming to my house for a night of drinking, movies and wonderful reminiscing over the horror of our highschool days.  After this second trip to the shops, we returned with a slightly smaller bottle, once again full of vodka juice.

We got home, settled in to video games and music, at this point I call Julian asking if when he comes over he can bring CDs for educational purposes.  He proposes that rather than him coming here, we go over there and play in the granny flat.  Some frantic preperations are made, and we set off for Julians, taking along: 1. bag of wormwood 1. litre bottle of smirnoff and 1. 700mL bottle of Karloff vodka (chosen because of Boris Karloff... frankenstein seemed appropriate for the night) and also some chips and things.

We then commenced the drink-a-thon... the litre bottle was polished off, along with a bit of beer and some of the wormwood... I'm quite glad to say that we remain alive, and the second bottle remains full and intact... if it didn't we may very well be dead.

Observations from this night:
  • Large amounts of vodka can ONLY be drunk in shot form, the shots must be taken together, and one person must under no circumstances be allowed to get ahead of the group.
  • Walks in the park are a must when drunk, due to the simple fact that they encourage such excellent conversation :)
  • I am and probably always will be a communist at heart, at least when it comes to such things as food, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes and other such fun things.
  • Hugs are fantastic for warmth, but a leather jacket probably does the job more efficiently.
  • Wormwood = sham :( but, I'll still be amused to find out what happens when Soph smokes it :)
  • The integration of friends can occassionally be terribly difficult and awkward.  This, however, was far from one of those times and should begin to happen on a regular basis.
  • Julian looks far too much like Bernard (Black Books) for anything to ever be safe around him again.
  • After being taken under the wing of the likes of Jules and Harley and corrupted good and proper... I now appear to have a protege of my own :) oh let the good times roll
  • I will, no doubt, feel like lukewarm death by the time dinner rolls around, but it will also be completely worth it.

Love to Bec and Jules :) I fucking adore you both :):):)
