I remember doing numerous rounds of Tintern while we bitched and ranted about anything that moved (and anything that didn't, we weren't picky *g*), pointing out continuously how much the universe truly sucked. Best stress relief ever!

And playing soccer! Okay, so a little uncoordinated at first, but we got there in the end. Sort of. If 'there' means 'not as directionally challenged as we were to begin with but still not good by anyone's standards except a little elf called Bernard who's blind anyway.'

Hey, I'm not criticising Bernard, all things considered he was great. But next time I'd recommending hiring a coach that can actually see. Like George! He was also cheaper *grumbles about costs of coaches these days*

he trained many famous soccer stars until he so tragically had his eyes mutilated by a blow to the face with a .... soccer boot... thing.... with the spikes on the bottom... yeah

that isn't his fault and i don't think you should hold it against him

Yeah, and you know WHY Bernard got his eyes mutilated by soccer boot spikey things? Because he was crap! A ferocious leader who pointlessly killed thousands! But finally the team rallied up against him and overthrew the tyrant in order to achieve independence. They just wanted to govern themselves and get rid of pointless slavery! That's all they wanted! Freedom! Are you begrudging them that? Yes, yes you are!

I'm not holding anything against him! Except maybe a soccer boot with spikes on the soles.

those soccer players would never have been able to efficiently govern themselves, they just didn't have the abilities damn it!!!

it was bernard's job to protect them from their own ignorance. He was a strong leader and shall me missed dearly.

And they're doing so well now they've been given the chance to govern themselves and have more equality and less pointless murder.

i think you're clearly missing the point of what we really need in society

less mass murder??? i don't know any society that has ever really truly worked towards killing off less of its people.

and he was a dictator, yes, but i swear, now their community is in a shambles, everyone working where they want, being educated equally and all having enough food...

if western society is anything to go by then that's sure not what we're looking for in society
