Rendezvous with insanity, anyone?
here's the way it went down.
In France, a loving 3"6 mother raises her unhappy child. The mom can't find anything to make the boy happy, no even her buying him a puppy named Bruno. One day, the mother is making her son's bed and finds a notebook under his bed filled with bicycles and tricycles. so the mom bought the boy a bike and he's all kinds of happy.
Years later, the boy has grown up into a man with a huge nose and unreasonably muscular legs and the mother is still really short and the puppy grew up into a really really fat dog that barks at trains. They bike ride all the time, and he trains and whatnot and then joins the tour de france. Those dudes are allowed to have cars following them or something, so dudes' mom is following him on top of a big van. but then there are suddenly tacks upside down in the road, and the van gets a flat tire. boohoo. but dude still goes on without his mom. ironically, five minutes later an identical van drives by the mom's broken van towards her son. yeah, so the dude eventually falls over and is kidnapped by the people in the 2nd van, along with two other dudes. those guys are then unvolintarily condemned and shipped off to america where they are forced to pedal against the other two riders on stationary bikes while the mafia takes bets on who will last the longest. the race is a last man standing thing. you have to pedal 'till you die. It's like Greyhound Survivor.
but anyway, mom figures out the evil plan and takes a paddle boat with Bruno to america to look for her boy. she has no money so her and bruno end up on the streets playing a drum in the alley. this playing attracts three very elderly used-to-be flappers from the 20's. they were a big act back in the day. They preform with the unusually short mom and everyone's happy. They head off back to the flapper girls' apartment, where they eat blown up frog soup, frogsicles and deep fried frogs.
Thourough investigation is done by mom and Bruno to find where this mafia death race is going on, and inevitably they find out. They infiltrate the system and then attack the mafia and kill them all and save the boy.
