And I was scared of earthquakes and moose!

Add to that list: Volcanoes.

Apparently Augustine Volcano has decided that it is due an eruption. It's about 180 miles south of Anchorage so we are out of the way of the lavaflow, but if the wind blows ash this way, it's bad.

Very bad. Especially for infants and elderly (!!!) It isn't fluffy ash like a campfire produces, it's a fine sandy mist that is abraisive and causes silicosis. So far no ashfall, but it's scary thinking about it! It messes up electronics and cars and all flights are cancelled because the stuff can bring a plane down.

On the brighter side, Mia finally has an appointment with an allergist at the end of the month. She can roll over both ways like a pro and reaches to put toys in her mouth now.

I went back to working at the studio last week. I am only teaching two classes now. I teach a beginner and a preschool tap/creative movement. Funstuff!
