Sunday: After church, I called Alexa to see if we would be able to hang out today. She said that we definitely could after work and that she might get off work a little early. Low and behold, she only had to stay at work for an hour! When she arrived I showed her my new room which she seemed to like a bit. After that proceeded the "Holy shit I missed you so much!" fest. No thanks to Katie at all. Alexa gets a call from her dad basically saying he's going to be gone at a party and that Alexa and I should go hang out back at the house tonight if we wanted to. w00t! Mom made veggie burgers and broccoli and stuff for dinner. Alexa, Katie, and I all ate up in the playfort. It was loads of fun. After dinner Alexa and I decided to head back to her house. We do, where Alexa grabs a hoody and we walk down to the lake for a little bit watching the very end of the sunset. Once it did we walked down to the playground in her neighborhood where we wanted to swing on the swings. Psht, fuck that..somebody apparently patrols around the pool and makes sure people don't play and have fun after dusk. Instead, we head over to these rocks and watch stupid people walk by as they shout into their cell phones. After getting a good taste of amusement we headed back to the lake. We sat on this cement ledge where my feet would some times brush the tip of the water. It was very dark and the sky was clear and full of stars. We watched the radio towers flash their lights and interrupted them with kisses. Everything was so beautiful that I started to cry. Alexa and I decided to lay down in the grass and wish on stars while wrapped up in each other. Sadly the moment was interrupted by a cop shining his light in our eyes asking if we had any drugs on us, if we were doing anything we shouldn't, and then started bitching about curfew. I love it how they can try to ruin something magical like that. It was getting late and I needed to be home so we said our goodbyes for the night and made plans to see each other again on Monday.
Monday: Alexa came over this morning at about 10ish. I was taking Myspace pix0rz when the doorbell rang to which I answered with a sneak shot of Alexa in the doorway. We ended up spending the morning in bed having a wonderful time with each other. I shared with her some of the journal entries I had written at camp expressing the emotional, sometimes physical, anguish I was experiencing. We decided to go outside and lay on the hammock together. Though I am scared of hammocks I didn't hesitate. We laid their in each others arms staring at the clouds and into each others eyes. Nothing can explain what happened and I'm not going to try explicate the way I felt because I'll fall terribly short. Just know that nothing could feel better than that. We then decided to head out to drop off my application at the Chester Dry Cleaners, and then go out to Exile so Alexa could get some 8's. We x'd it up on the way there and pumped Throwdown. Neither of us really knew where we were going so we decided to call up Alyssa and see if she could help us out. She ended up coming along for the journey! We hit up Exile, Diversity Thrift, Luxor(?), Bygone(?), this coffe shop with amazing vegan cookies, Plan 9 where I acquired Anti-Flag's - "Die for the Government" on red vinyl for $4, and Ellwood Thompson for some food and drink. After all of that we headed over to the Oregon Hill tree house and had a ton of fun. Alexa called her dad to see if we could all hang out there, he said yes, so we took full advantage and did. Alexa, Alyssa, and I all went down to the playground once we got to Alexa's house. We sat there after some bridge wars and all talked, laughed, and had fun. Later we went back to Alexa's house and talked some more. These past two days have been so amazing, it's sad to see them go.
