I woke up today and helped my dad finish painting my room. So shyeah, it's all painted and what not. I got a futon for it(which I plan on having some fun with). I headed over to Dave's house to pick him up for the show. On the way there he gets a phone call from Cate/Heather complaining about us not being there. So we get there and wait an hour for the first band to fucking tune a snare drum.
Alchemists Lament: Shit. One guitar couldn't tune, the bass player was awful, the drummer's chops were sloppy, the other guitarist's riffs were all the same. There songs were way too long.
Cut the Architects Hand: This band is where it's at. They were so tight and there songs were very catchy. Nice guys too.
Black Heart Valentine: Pretty alright band. Lots-o-energy.
Dave and I decided to leave after that band. We got tired of Heather/Cate/Steph talking about who they've fucked/made out with/etc. and their talk about how sweet big penises are. Outside we ran into Alyssa and Alexa who we walked around with for quite some time. We made a trip into Kroger for some eats which proved to be unsuccessful. We went into a gas station instead for some drinks. After that we ran back into Heather/Cate/Steph outside of Nanci Raygun. They tagged along with us as we walked around for a little bit. Alexa and I escaped and were able to have some alone time which was so very nice. We laid down in her car for a little bit and then were secret agents. We sat on the curb observing the lights and the cool air. We met the others back in the Village Cafe. It was getting late and I had to be home. Alexa and I said our goodbyes and I walked down the street with Dave.
I'm leaving tomorrow for 11 days.
