look people, something i ripped from my 4th year high computer project. hahahaha... :) Holy people!!!!!!! esp my batchmates!!!!! I MISS YOU GUYS. :)
-March 2003-
I've been studying in the school of the Holy Spirit for 12 years now. I was there already way back when the coke was banned from the canteen, the shake was 5 pesos a glass, and local TV only had IBC, RPN, GMA, and ABS-CBN.
And now... I'm graduating.
So I guess this would be my parting page (yak, cheezy) for all my years in SHSQC.
Prep A- All the kids would line up neatly and go to the quadrant and shake their butts to the tune of Mr Peter Rabbit
Prep B- I was so happy when my mom bought me this shiny new purple Aladdin lunchbox then when I got to class, all the other kids were going crazy over this new thing- those automatic pressy thingy pencil cases.
Grade 1- I remember having to dance as a parrot in the feild demo... some of my friends had to be flamingoes and eagles but I had to be a parrot. Wow.
Grade 2- I learned about orgs and joined the Star scouts! I camped in school and had to sleep beside this fourth grader who was really nice! Unfortunately, when night came in, she thought I was a pillow.
Grade 3- I still remember the embarrassment of having to dance Ragga (?) Muffin Girl in front of my titos and titas for a family gathering. The horror...
Grade 4- The days of sleep-overs and parties! I guess all the partying was because the babysitter's club and sweet valley twins became so dang popular. My book shelves were full of those things!
Grade 5- A nun caught me, Pia Briones and this other girl playing spirit of the coin in the play ground and we ran like hell from the nun! When she traced what section we were from, I didn't plea guilty. I feel guilty now for not being sanctioned but that sure was funny!
Grade 6- Along with Marika Melgar and Evette Tan, I had a hand in composing our grad song. During one of the grad practices, a group was making fun of the song we made and I went through this terrible emotional episode on the stage... "Kasi... may sniff sniff... tatlong bata...." I can just die at the thought of it.
First year- I met the new students from our class and on the first day, we were grouped and assigned to make a presentation for CL. I was like "Kunwari may dala kang aruana" (the fish... I don't know the spelling) and people were all "Huh?!". Then Mariel Firmacion, this new girl said "ah... marijuana!" Shit. Sabog ko.
Second- My debater skills started to kick in. I started to debate with my teachers and there was one time that Ms. malayas, our adviser, was giving us a lecture because the cleaners didn't do their job well. So I raised my hand and said "Miss..! We shouldn't suffer as a class just because some of us failed to do their duties!" The next thing we know, our whole class was transferring our things to the corridor. Sorry, biyaya!
Third- Katarungan was the best class I've ever had. It was fun, and everyone got along with one another. The whole year was memorable. The fieldtrip, the interaction with 4-A, the prom, Bamok's dad... This is the year where I met my most of my friends now. It's the best. Nuff said.
Fourth- So far... this is the hardest year I've been into. Requirements, Quizzes... you're lucky if you get two digits for a score in the Fili quizzes. It's the last year... so there's a greater value on bond within the batch. heartbreaks for most of us started to some in too... right kay? ü
My very own version of Confessions by Rosseau... I hope you had a knack out of it.
