Update since last post

Well last post wasn't much of an update, but I thought I'd write a bit anyway since I'm bored to bits.

- That Velvet Revolver/Alice in Chains concert was AWESOME. So that now makes two concerts I've been to...Velvet Revolver, and....Velvet Revolver.

- I noticed a couple posts below I wrote "I hope to see RENT" (the musical, live). Well, I did! In May! Myself and 8 other friends drove down to Seattle to watch this faboulous show and it was every bit as amazing as I hoped for it to be and more. I would really love to see it again even if it meant driving down to Seattle again.

- Speaking of shows and concerts, I'm going to the Spice Girls concert. Yes, I AM proud to say I'm going. I'm almost certain I'll be coming home deaf or at least with echoes of high pitched girly screams in my ear.

- In July or so, I sold my iMac and got a crazy deal on a MacBook Pro. I've never owned a laptop before so I wasn't sure if I'd REALLY need it as I've survived without. I knew that I was going to either keep this or sell it (hoping I would be able to sell it for more than what I bought it for since I got a good deal) and get the new iMac that was released last month. After that announcement, I decided to stick with the MBP and I definitely don't regret it. I love that thing :D

- I gave in and bought the iPhone (I knew I was going to sooner or later). I managed to unlock it myself. It's great and all but lacks some of the simplest things that my old cell phone had that made things more convenient, but overall I love it. First time I ever paid for a cell phone too, hah (all my previous cell phones were Christmas/birthday gifts or my parents').

- Lastly, I found some great deals in Craigslist and bought myself a Canon XL1 and Canon XL1S. If you checked both pictures, yes, they do look the same, and no, I don't know how to tell the difference, but the XL1S has some improvements over it's predecessor, that's all I know. Anyways, with those two monsters, I'm going to sell one of my older cameras. With two good cameras, looks like I'm pretty much set for my plan to be a wedding videographer this coming spring/summer, so I'm excited/nervous/stressed/unsure how that'll go...

Till next time I'm super bored at work!
