I bought Tetris DS yesterday and played it for about 20 minutes on the way home from work, and I can already say that's freakin AWESOME. I've only been exposed to the original tetris on NES/SNES remake and tetrinet, so this is the first time I got to experience that arcade way of how you can still move the piece well after it touches the floor. This is also when it falls so fast that it's almost instant. Frickin intense is what it is, and I'll never get bored of that.
There's also other modes, most of which I haven't played yet, but is bound to be fun.
Also, Metroid Prime Hunters came out yesterday. As much as I've been waiting for it, I don't think I'll buy it right now, despite the 9.0 IGN rating. Why...I'll hardly play it (I usually play on bus rides to work, and I drive there more often now), and my friends bought my Battles of Prince of Persia, which I haven't put in my DS yet (it did get a 6 or something rating on IGN after all). Besides, I got Tetris, and that'll keep me busy.
Tetris, Dr. Mario and Puzzle League in the same handheld...could the DS get any better? (When it comes to less than 30-minute sessions anyway)
