October 2016 Theme

First of all, sorry for the late posting.  You see, I had a bit of trouble thinking of a theme.  So many--both suggested and my own--sounded so good to me.  So, after some very good advice, I've settled on this.  October is easily one of my two favorite months of the year, holding one of my two favorite holidays.  In that honor, I present to you a grab bag of themes this month.  What does this mean for you?  Well, below the cut, will be a list of themes--some my own, some happily suggested.  When you create your works for this month, pick a theme from the list.  Wanna use two from the list in one work?  Go nuts.  As long as the theme comes from the list, it works for me.  So, without further ado, the list:
