Author’s Notes: Inspired by an article from Reader’s Digest May 2006 issue, on the question: “Does true love last forever?”

He never could remember her name, but he knew her... )

Ah, beautiful. I love the feeling it evokes - you know what will happen but it unravels so nicely that it's as if you didn't know after all. Gorgeous little piece you have here. *thumbs up*

Oh, I was kind of worried, actually, that how I wrote it made the ending too predictable, but I'm really glad that it turned out all right, after all. ^_^
