[July 11] [Gundam Wing] Antics

Quatre has decided that Duo, his friend, doesn't know anything about being discreet.
"There's nothing wrong with being subtle and less direct." He whispers to his friend beside him.
"I am being subtle." Duo whispers back with a grin and launches several balls of paper at the back of Heero's head.
Heero, who is sitting two rows below them, does not seem to have noticed the paper bombs hitting him, clustering the desk behind him. Or maybe Heero is pointedly ignoring the attacks, Quatre muses.
"Mr. Maxwell." the teacher up front calls out in a warning tone. Everyone in class stop writing to turn around and look at Duo. Everyone, even Heero.
"Oh. So now I have your attention." Duo remarks flippantly only to Heero and not to the teacher. Quatre wants to slap his forehead. What's with these two?
The class snigger. The teacher doesn't look amused.
"Mr. Maxwell, please, refrain from doing anything childish during class," the teacher raises his voice above the laughter.
"I apologize." Duo answers with a shady grin on his face as he sits back down, his eyes only on Heero's.
Quatre looks back and forth between his friends and wonders if this is a game only those two are allowed to play.
The teacher calls back everyone's attention with a deliberate cough in his hands and turns to the projector.
Only Heero has yet to turn his head around and when he does, finally, Quatre sees him flash a wan small smile only Duo can decipher.
