The life/death and breathing metaphors and imagery just about did me in. Wooonderful.

The femslash surprised me a bit, in that I think I started intending for it to be a small piece on Aerith... and then Tifa snuck in there and I knew, femslash! So it's something of a poor add-on and y'can tell how disjointed the development.
