A good butler is known for never spying. Though perhaps it is better to say that he is known for keeping his mouth shut about what he sees.
One evening as he quietly inspects the unused guest rooms for cleanliness, he opens a connecting door to another room and sees Seras Victoria, standing in front of a mirror. Perhaps this defies vampire tradition, but Walter knows she can see herself. She is humming softly, and she is dancing, looking at her reflection. It should have a touch of the ridiculous, but she looks beautiful. He can't restrain himself from standing and gazing at her, enjoying the way she moves though she still looks rather sad and lost. Seras must miss dancing, along with all the other innocent enjoyments that are improper or impossible for a vampire.
Reluctantly he reminds himself of decorum and shuts the door. The first thing that occurs to him is that she shouldn't have to dance alone, but there is nothing he can do about that. But he also thinks to himself that she shouldn't have to dance in a shirt and trousers.
The next morning he delivers a package to her room. He is taking his chances that she will realize that it is he who done this, will know that he has overstepped his bounds. After all, who else at Hellsing even knows what size of clothing she wears? But now at least she will have a white dress and a pair of bright red shoes to dance in.
