your life goal isn't working out because all of us - you included - are human beings: conscious, thinking, feeling, and most importantly, born free, with natural and unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of our own happiness.

no matter what anybody tells you or what you may tell yourself, we are not slaves to the whims, needs, desires, or emotions of other people. i cannot even fathom the misery of holding a worldview that says otherwise. no wonder you're so unhappy: you keep yourself in the shackles of emotional slavery, and i mean that in a very real, very literal way. man is an end in and of himself, Shiz. you are not someone else's tool: you are a person. you're a person, for fuck's sake!

deep down, you know it's true. we all know it: it is woven into the very fiber of our beings. you can't erase it, you can't deny it, and you can't conquer it - no matter how hard you try. the solution isn't to try and force yourself into the shackles: the solution is to learn to face the daunting and dazzling possibility of life outside them.
