"Introducing the World’s Tallest Roses from Organic Bouquet
(by way of Ecuador)! Because nothing says I’m sorry like a dozen roses for $250 + $74.95 for a vase big enough to hold them upright. With each vase purchase you’ll also receive a free pair of professional shears, which will probably come in handy if the roses don’t come dethorned. (Can you imagine the size of the thorns on these suckers?)

Okay, seriously you might never need to buy these for you wife, girlfriend, significant other, etc., but I’m sure they would make an excellent Valentine’s Day present. ;-) Right now they’re showing as out of stock for Valentine’s Day, but I’ve been told that they have new stock coming in all the time. As for me I think I’ll stick to the regular size roses for a V Day Present!
Here are some coupons for Organic Bouquet, but unfortunately they can’t be used on the giant roses…"

I agree with the thorns comment.  presenting or being presented gigantic, pretty, (but inevitably thorned roses) makes me think of The Little Shop of Horrors.  I can just imagine a man or woman not thinking about the pointiness, just seeing the beauty of them, and reaching out to pet/pick them up only to be epidermically raped on the arm. Or have their head bitten off by what was supposed to be a happy (not dangerous or fatal) gift.
