Hello there! I'm back after my Spring Break/birthday/Hawaiian hiatus. I apologize to everyone that requested pairings during that time and didn't get them approved by a mod. They've all been approved now, and added to the Claims List. For anyone that was working on their fics in that time, you have an extra week to post them with (as opposed to your deadline being one month from your request date, they are one month from your request APPROVED date, which is today... thus, one month from now is 5/18/06).
Also a new addition to our rules: Crossovers! Yes, you may request crossover pairings, so long as you have the full names of both characters, and the complete fandom names that both characters hail from. All Crossover pairings will be listed under the "Crossovers" category (in the C-area, which comes after B and before D... obviously). As with all other pairings, you should still observe the tagging rules, so you must still use the name 1 x name 2 format for your pairing tag. But instead of fandom tags, you can just use the word 'crossover' as your tag. (NOT 'CROSSOVERS'!)
Our first Crossover pairing is for Yami no Bakura (Yu-Gi-Oh!) and Midvalley the Hornfreak (Trigun). So the person requesting this claim would use the following tags for each of their entries:
* yami no bakura x midvalley the hornfreak
* crossover
* 30kisses #01 (or whatever list name theme #, such as alpha #01, zeta #29)
* look over here (or whatever the theme name is, AS IT IS LISTED ON THE LISTS!)
The Tagging System page has been updated!
It now includes a Tags Master list, arranged by list (30kisses, alpha, beta, etc.), fandom, and pairings. You may ONLY use these tags! I have yet to go through the Tag Management System and edit or delete the ones that are not supposed to be in use, but as a strong recommendation, please read the master list for whatever claims you have out and ensure that you're following the tag system correctly!
The list also includes clarifications of tagging rules, plus striked-out tags that SHOULD NOT BE USED.
The currently acceptable tags are available on the
Tagging System page. As people request more pairings/fandoms, or as more alternative lists are created, that list will expand (and have an update date attached to it). But it will be there to serve as a reference for everyone that either doesn't understand the tagging system or who has used it incorrectly.
Any other questions, comments, problems, concerns? This is the place to post them!
