help donate someone else's money to relief aid for those affected by Hurricane Katrina
i have never failed to admit that i hate the south. but no one should have to live through the pain and suffering and loss that these people have had dropped in their laps. by clicking on this link and commenting to this guy's personal LJ post, you can help the people of LA and MS by not spending a dime. but i do encourage you to donate even just a dollar of your own. i donated the $16.20 i had left to my name the other day, which i was planning on using for cigarettes for the weekend. so even i found it in me to not be selfish.
edit: this guy can no longer count comments, as the numbers have reached the capacity of his low income job. others have volunteered to lift his burdon and take on the effort. here's links to their posts:
