Crossovers are allowed, yes. However, if you just want to cross two fandoms without a specific pairing in mind, the answer is no. The passion is between two specific people, not a whole group of people, and it really isn't fair to have an entire fandom (or two, as the case may be) to yourself. It may not sound very fair, but it really is. By requesting a specific pairing, you're allowing others to be able to claim characters from the two fandoms you're wanting to cross.
OKay, I think I understand this now. I've been community searching so everything's starting to get confusing. (Everyone has the same concept with differnt rules) Thanks for the clearfication.
Not a problem. I try to be very easy-going about pairings and when a challenge response needs to be posted by.
As for my rules for my comms, I admit they're ripped from 30-kisses. The only difference is the deadlines so . . .
I do hope you join and have fun with the themes. ^_^ That is, however, up to you. You know what's best for what you want to do.
Oh, and you can use the themes for any fictional piece you want to write. If you post the story somewhere though, like fanfiction.net, I just ask that you pimp the community. ^_^
I may join at a later date. As for now I have two tables I want to finish. I have a bad habit of taking on to many and not ever finishing so I'm setting my self a limit, two at a time.
Your prompts are really good and I may use them. If I do I will so a little pimpage of the community.
Have I mentioned I'm double checking everything? I'm really sorry if all these questions make it seem like I don't understand or if they are bugging you. I'm really only trying to figure out how all the communities I may join in the future work.
If that's confusing I'll try to explain it to you better.

You can't claim two general fandoms but can you claim one general fandom crossedover with one person from another fandom?

This is how a claim has to read.
Gravitation:
Tohma Seguchi x Shuichi Shindou
This applies for all pairings, including crossovers. For example,
Berkeley Rose (FAKE) x Hiroshi Nakano (Gravitation)
Claiming a general fandom is NOT allowed.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Most people like to get into lengthy explanations that leave you confused. The example definitly helps.
