The sun had been shining that day.
He remembered it well. It had been bright, so delightful. The smell of flowers and grass had permeated his senses, lulling him into a calm he’d never known before.
It had been a perfect day. Amethyst eyes closed as the rest of that time drifted into his memory.
Strong arms had held him close, anchoring him in a unique way. Hands so firm yet so gentle had roamed all over his body, causing him to drown in an ocean of unnameable feelings, feelings he never thought to have existed. The passion that had been spent that day, wrapped in a strange cocoon of limbs . . . it had been unbelievable. It had been like a dream, and he’d discovered just how important touch had become to him.
But it hadn’t been Eiri who had taught him that lesson. Another had been his mentor, someone who he had last expected to ever teach him such things.
Shuichi opened his eyes and gazed at the picture once more before tucking it away. A soft sigh escaped him as he hid it so no one could find it.
‘Tohma . . . what have we done?’
