Will they put their differences aside,

Or will they show others what is meant by "match made in hell”?

The girl on the cliff watched as the waves below came rushing towards the beach and crashed against the rocks on the edge of the cliff. The wind blew in her face, blowing her hair behind her in a graceful motion.

She loved the ocean and nearly anything that has water in it, be it a pond or a river. She dreamt of having one of those exclusive lakeside apartments one day. Going to the beach has always been relaxing. There was a sculpture exhibition on the cliff around Bondi Beach and another beach nearby, with sculptures scattered alongside the trails between the two beaches.

She wished she could spend all day just looking at the waves and the ocean. To stand there and watch the waves come crashing; to feel the wind moving against her face; to be able to feel the freshness of the air and water, is absolute heaven.

Drowning out the laughter of children who were running around and tourists taking photos and exploring the hills, she found herself travelling into the past mentally, reminiscing.

###### Flashback ######

"You lied!"

She could just imagine his dark, angry look with smoke coming out of his head as she saw his MSN message flashing up on her MSN Messenger window.

"No, I didn't!"

She typed back furiously, in denial as to what she had done might somehow been wrong.

His next message flashed up on her screen. "I can't believe that you've lied to me!"

Then a signal came up, showing that he has gone offline.

She knew then that she has made one of the biggest mistakes of her life.

###### End of Flashback ######

Resurfacing from her nostalgia, she blinked back the tears that were threatening to overflow. Taking a deep breath, she turned and walked towards the crowd gathering around a unique sculpture.

Cassie stared blankly at her computer screen.

It had been a week since she had been to the cliffs.

There wasn’t much to do except for going out and bumming around with friends. School was out, since their grade was officially on holiday after finishing their university entrance exams.

All she needed to do was to tidy her study notes and her horrendously messy room.

It didn't seem real to her that she has finally finished high school. It was hard to believe that she's leaving high school and going onto university, away from her "safety net" and into the big pond.

The last thing was the much-awaited senior prom, which is only a few days away, and with one spare ticket, who knows what's going to happen?
