highly objectionable

Aw yeah, ten minute drabbles. I live on the edge.

Title: highly objectionable
Theme: trial (#15)
Claim: Sanji
Words: 309
Rating: PG
Warnings: Swearing? Blatant disregard of the legal system? Zoro and Sanji in the same room during volatile situations is always a warning in and of itself, right?

It can be tricky to write a piece almost entirely in dialogue that still makes sense, so bravo!

I feel bad for the poor court staff... XD

If I may be a little nit-picky, I'm not sure "attempted manslaughter" is possible, since by definition it's killing somebody, though without malice. Attempted murder? Assault and battery?

Very interesting take on the prompt, though! Nice work!

Dialogue has never been my strong point, but somewhow this piece practically wrote itself. Maybe because it's just so easy to troll poor Sanji. I regret nothing.

I see what you mean about "attempted manslaughter" and there was a warning blip in my head as I was writing it. But I didn't want to use murder because it wasn't exactly premeditated. It was really a spur of the moment "They're hitting on Nami-san! Sanji smash!" thing, a result of drunken thought processes XD I meant "attempted" as in he failed to actually kill anyone (probably because Nami knocked him out before he could why can't anyone hold their goddamned alcohol)........ maybe assault and battery will work. I'll come back to this later!

Please continue to be as nitpicky as you wish! I adore any kind of concrit, and it's really greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

That last line sent me into a round of giggles. Just your usual day with the Strawhats.

“Oh god, that bench was bolted to the floor!”

Bahahahahaha.

"OH GOD, HE LIFTED THE ENTIRE JUROR BOX WITH THE JURORS STILL IN IT."

And somehow, life goes on... XD

(sorry for double comment!)

“Oh god, that bench was bolted to the floor!”

*snorts* Oh you haven't seen nothin' yet. Very nice, it had me giggling from the moment they brought up Sanji's wanted poster. I'm also greatly amused by the image of Zoro sitting in the audience just to see the shit cook Sanji have to put up with all their legal crap. xD

Though I'd like to know how they got him in there... must have been a female arresting officer or something, given he's already broken the handcuffs. ;) Can't believe you did this in 10 minutes, very nice.

"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, THE GAVEL OF JUSTICE WAS NOT MEANT FOR SUCH SENSELESS BRUTALITY!"

Zoro can be the biggest troll, and Sanji will just have to suffer it.

Probably the bailiff was female! I honestly didn't think of that! Or maybe Nami just handed him over to the authorities because there would be less property damage to deal with that way, ha ha ha >_> But alas, not even a womanly presence can prevent the absolute carnage that comes of Zoro-and-Sanji-being-immature.

Thanks!

*snorts* Oh god, the Gavel of Justice. I love you so much right now. <3

Bahaha, I can see Nami doing that, anything for a bit of peace and quiet.

Oh gods my sides hurt! You made me laugh so hard I've started crying..

"Heckles from your adoring public"

Love just love!! Words do not begin to describe how much I love you right now.

I'll be giggling for a long while.

"oh god that bench was bolted to the floor!"

One question why was the judge told to get down?

:D :D :D

Someone, probably the bailiff, shouted at the judge to get down because Zoro and Sanji were in the process of uprooting fixed structures and tossing them around the courtroom like they weighed nothing at all, haha. HE'S PICKING UP THE JUROR'S BOX, DUCK, QUICKLY!!

Thank you for reading!

Ah, that makes more sence.

And like I've said before I love your Sanji. I can also tell you I love your Zoro too.

This actually kinda makes me want to draw it.... If only I had some skill in drawing comics....

I love writing them because they are just so INTENSE all the time, just always so full of FEELINGS, even if those feelings are usually inspired by misguided testosterone/spectacular fail/is-this-really-happening-right-now moments.......... I love them.

OMGOSH PLEASE DO. I myself now have a hankering to draw Zoro and Sanji flipping tables, but as stick figures ecause I have zero artistic talent.... perhaps it is better that way.
