WAAAAH! That was AWESOME!!!
I love Zoro like, "Yeah, I can get this tea ceremony done, no prob." XD XD
And poor nervous Sanji. And Zoro acting like he was just going to lose on purpose. How awesome! ^^
And I felt so bad for Chopper when he was afraid he was going to get picked. Awwww...
Wow, you must have done a lot of research on this... I wouldn't have had the patience, XP
I really want to go to one of these, but I'm afraid I would screw up a lot of stuff, and later they'd be like, "Amerika-jin wa baka desu." T_T

Thanks! I'm happy you weren't put off by my overly-didactic way of putting all my research into fic (well, not all of it - I cut out the 19 other ways Zoro could have screwed up out of that one paragraph :-P).

This fic was quite a while in the making, but I basically read a couple of books and did some internet research. Nothing big :-P It was pretty interesting. The biggest annoyance was that usually these things are done in groups, and nowadays by women, and it was hard to find out how it should be done if it's one-on-one especially between men.

I'm actually not that sure I would want to do one of these, because I actually don't like tea (green or otherwise). But I'm sure they're used to baka na Amerika-jin, so don't let that stop you :-D

This was really good although I was sad they regretted choosing sanji. Also I may need a breif explanation on how this is for the dance topic.

Still good though!

Oops, what I meant was more that they regretted choosing Sanji *first*, they would still have chosen him second if he'd lost the third round.

That's okay. The dancing thing was obscure! It must be kinda hard to police the whole theme thing, huh? I mean, what does it mean to have written something for a theme? If you mention a word once? If you construct the whole fic around the theme? If you never mention the actual word but it's implied all the way through? *ponders*

This was amazing! I'm totally enchanted with the idea of Zoro being able to do something so civilized.
But
What?
What?!
Noble?! Are we going to hear more about this?!

Thanks! That was kinda the point...people are always writing Zoro as completely boorish, but when you think about it, when you're taught in a dojo and stuff, you have to learn to be civilised, really.

Yesh, you will. It's not that epic. Just random speculation. :-P

What's even cooler is that Zoro is supposed to be Japanese in real life.
But I have to agree with Luffy, it'd be a little funny to watch Zoro bow to a teapot. XD
Good stuff!

Yes! Zoro would be just the person who would know about this stuff, despite appearances.

Yeah the whole bowing-to-a-teapot thing (I guess it's not really a teapot) was funny when I saw it in a video. I thought that was just the sort of thing Luffy would find amusing.

Thank you :-)

Very nice!

I like the thought of characters having hidden talents/unexpected depth, and this handled that in a very entertaining fashion!

I love the culture clash aspect of this, where Sanji has one manner set and points things out that don't necessarily mesh, and then Robin explains... XD

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I've always thought one of the nice things about One Piece is how each of the characters is really deep and has surprising talents. Like Usopp, who was recruited for basically being a nice guy (I laughed when Luffy cited his major talent as lying to Arlong), turning out to be an awesome sniper/painter/sculptor/superhero/all-jobs man. And one of the things I like about Zoro is that even though he acts so rough-and-tumble he has a really civilised, honourable side (not to mention the kind-to-animals-and-small-children side). :-D
