Summary: Fuji and Oishi met during a beach party & Oishi was trapped in a rather troublesome situation when Fuji came to his rescue. First installments in this 8 chaptered short fic, written specially for 30 moments.

Chapter 1 -- How we met & How we started...
It happened one week before the christmas weekend, Fuji Syusuke, a boy around the age of sixteen was seen strolling along the beach alone. Although, the boy was smiling; it was in fact giving off vibes which prevents or rather dissuade people from nearing him.

Night had fallen, sounds of music comes blasting to life; disrupting the peaceful silence atmosphere of the evening. Fuji Syusuke was still wandering about the beach aimlessly; while another boy of his age stood some distance away from the crowd dancing at the beach party. It was exactly at that point of time, their eyes met.
Nothing happened, saved for the slight nod of their heads as they acknowledge one another's presence. The background music of the party changes from 'Larger than life' -- a fast tempo song by the american pop band, Backstreet Boys, into one of a slower tempo song. 'As long as you love me' by the very same pop idol group.
It was at that point of time, someone else, a random girl comes into the picture. The girl, was sporting a yellow sundress which somehow reminded Fuji of that 'Tweety Bird' in the production of 'Warner Brothers' Animation, of America. That girl, had her hands on the other boy's cheek, appearing to be flirtatious. Fuji took that moment to assess the other boy's reaction to the situation, swiftly but discreetly; and couldn't help but being amused by the sight. The boy's reaction was not what Fuji had been expecting. After all, most boys his age would have succumbed to their temptation when faced with such situation, that boy however was another matter. Instead of taking chances, the boy had blushed crimson to a shade that resembled an over-ripe tomato. It's so red and hot that makes Fuji wondered if an egg could be cooked under that level of heat.
Deciding to save the boy from further embarrassment, lest the boy chose to fled the site. He began heading towards the direction of them. Upon seeing his approach, the other boy's eyes widen in shock. Winking a mischievious wink, he dropped a hint as if telling the other to play along with him. Having no other choice, the boy nodded in silent agreement.
Forcing down a smirk, Fuji tapped the girl on the shoulder and cleared his throat loudly to gain attention. The girl turned around and faced with a somewhat irritated expression and snapped rudely. "Yes? How can I help you?"
Fuji resisted the urge to smirk, but instead he plastered on a look of peeved expression. Eyeing the girl with some irritation, he said.
"Excuse me, miss... but you can't really expect me to pretend I haven't seen the way you acted around the boy, when the person you're hitting on happens to be my boyfriend... Can you?"
He then smiled sardonically as he counted to three mentally. He watched as the girl's mouth opened and closed, eyes flickering between them; before stalking off in a huff. Sending a charming smile towards the other boy, he introduced himself as Fuji Syusuke.
"Oishi Syuichirou... thanks for the help earlier..." The boy said, a faint blush visible on his cheeks.
"You're welcome..." Fuji responded, smiling at Oishi charmingly; nearly causing the latter's knees to weaken. Satisfied with the reaction, he gained from Oishi. Fuji walked off, chuckling silently to himself, totally amused by the situation. Leaving behind an embarrassed Oishi in his wake.
