EW. EW-EW-EW-EW-EW.

*cough*

Okay, now that we've got that out of the way ...

I don't like these men. I love how you write them, but OH MY GOD these two FRUSTRATE THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME.

You do really really well with them, did you know?

I hate how they're so close, and yet they have to have sex vicariously. How it seems like they're screwing around with women because they can't get it together and just be lovers, it seems almost degrading to women, to me. Degrading to each other, two, and yet oddly enough, they seem to love each other for it.

Very confusing.

Damn good story, hon! You've got me all knotted up over it.

And the body ... guhhhh-ROSS. I'm phobic of dead bodies, so the ending ... yeah. Ew. Kudos, I didn't see that coming at all.

Yay! I squicked you! *claps delightedly*

They are frustrating, aren't they? Try watching the show! It's incredibly painful watching romance after romance destruct spectacularly, while S&H remain utterly oblivious to the fact that the only real relationship they appear capable of maintaining is with each other.

I even made up a couple quizzes based on that, titled, Which of Hutch's Doomed Lovers Are You? (most of them end up dead), and Which of Starsky's Ill-Fated Romances Are You?.

I think seventies TV as a whole was degrading to women. Back before I knew about slash, I actually wrote a novel in which I picked up the story after the series ended and got them both married off to good women while remaining best friends. I didn't have the slash concept down yet, but I knew *something* had to be done, lol!

Haha, oh lord, the 70s. Though you know, modern entertainment's not all that great, either. I'm an anime geek, it's true, and one of the biggest pet peeves I have is where a character is so obviously suited for another character of the same sex, and the writers either a) bring in a character of the opposite sex to artificially place with him/her, or b) turn the relationship into cheap shock-value fanservice. Can't we just have a normal, committed gay couple?

*fumes*

On another note, fewer dead bodies next time. As I mentioned before, EW.
