SUMMARY: A ‘what if’ scenario for the Fumoffu episode ‘A Goddess comes to Japan, part 2: The Hot Spring’. What if Kaname didn’t know the men’s and women’s baths changed places at ten, either?

AUTHOR'S NOTES: It’s interesting how innocent Sousuke seems about certain things, considering some of the primitive and/or downright seedy places he’s spent his life - after all, this is the guy who thought kissing was the same as artificial respiration. I can only guess that he’s heard nearly all the terms, and probably witnessed most of the actions, but lacks the knowledge of which matches which. Like someone who’s never heard music, knowing the terms ‘rock’ and ‘pop’, listening to Linkin Park but not having the context to know which category it fits in. I don’t know if Japanese high schools have sex education, but when I was in high school, it was actually done at a lower level than Sousuke is now, so he might not have even that sort of insight. I’m pretty sure that Kaname at least pointed him towards a biology textbook after his ‘date’ with Mizuki, but the story played out better this way.

Looking out the window of the girls’ room, Kaname was startled to see flashing lights out on the hill.
