... I just got to "the ice is too cold" and would like to venture the guess that it's not the hair growing atop his skull that's got gum stuck in it.

Just sayin'.

*snickers* Yeah-hey, I was right!

This was unbearably hot, hon. The first bit was holyshit hot, and then after that ... well it's weird. It's like the reader was suffering right along beside Starsky. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but goddamn was it hot. Very very well done.

Also: I love that Hutch was weirded out by the whole thing, but not enough that a) he alienated himself from his partner, or b) he joined Starsky in the world of omggottagetoffnow. You balanced the awkwardness really well with the comfortable dynamic between them, made it read very realistically. That's one of the things i love most about your work: it always rings true to me.

There was that one, where one of them was talking about how much he loved his girlfriend at the end, where your knack for realisticness really hurt. But nevermind, I've almost forgiven you for that one. Almost. But anyway, this story was delightful. Very light and fluffy, very hot and tasty. You write these two so well together, it makes me squeal like a fangirl. Excellent ( ... )

"Yeah-hey, I was right!"

And you guessed in just the right place in the story, too! I was very much
hoping people would start to get what was going on around there.

"I don't know if that was intentional or not, but goddamn was it hot."

'Intentional' is a funny concept - I was *hoping* that the reader would feel Starsky's, uh, pain, but there's never any guarantees. I'm thrilled that it worked for you! And that it was hot. Yay!

"You balanced the awkwardness really well with the comfortable dynamic between them, made it read very realistically."

Hutch will forgive Starsky anything. Slash or gen, the love between them is unconditional. That's what I love about the series - there's no personal space between them, and it's really okay. Which means I can write almost anything. It's a very liberating concept!

Thank you for the detailed feedback. You've really made my day! :-)
