I meant brownies in the metaphorical, tasty, Starsky-in-a-loincloth-with-a-plastic-ax sense, of course. Brownies are yummy, just like Starsky-in-a-loincloth-etc.
Is true, there was much violence, drugs and prostitution-type sex in this one. I did a lot of research into the porn industry in order to write this one, and it's not a pretty subject. The near-rape at the end is actually drawn from a real event described in one of my books, and I found myself having difficulty even writing it.
And the love is what I adore about S&H! It doesn't matter if they're having sex, fundamentally, no matter what, they love each other.
