AUTHOR'S NOTES: Written for 30_lemons #16 The Classroom. I had several ideas for this; one I’ll probably write anyway, and the other was going to be part of the Castle of Fantasies series, but was instead adapted into this full-blown AU. I wound up liking this universe a lot more than I thought, and I’ve wound up with several other stories on the boil.
