I thought he'd proposed to her - like, they were starting a new part of their life and he was showing her all of their old, precious memories before they went off and had many mini-Shinichis.. but that was me. xD But it's so cute! =D

In the days since his return, he had actually gotten better about sharing his mystery obsession. Granted, he still rushed off to solve his cases (though she could usually get a very nice apology later)

Actually, I almost had the last line be him asking her to marry him, but I figured the story worked well enough without that. But...mini-Shinichis? Oh Lordy, if that doesn't make it into a fic, I will eat...a sandwich. Yeah, sandwiches are good.

I don't need to specify the kind of apology. Knowing this fandom, no matter what I wrote, it would get taken every way under the sun--most of them not quite printable. One more thing I adore about this fandom *grin grin*

Yeah, I have class tomorrow. Back on campus and ready to face the academic world yet again. In my new "I'm an adult, take me seriously" clothes, no less!! Much love!!
