I think Haru is just a born parent. ^_^ And Rin, well, is less so. Although her protective instincts have always been good, which is a good thing in a situation like theirs.

(I hate Rin's parents with a passion, as you can probably tell.)

The thing with Shigure is more that (the way I'm thinking of it) he and Rin both do actually care about each other, and so she's sort of trying to let him back into her life a little, but it's only somewhat successful. I think he did hurt her badly by loving Akito the way he does, and I do believe that in the series Rin is one of the people he allowed to get hurt while he was going after what he wanted. So at this point, I'm picturing it as her not entirely shutting him out of their lives, but not really letting him in, either.

And thank you--I'm happy to hear you liked it. ^_^

lol you may be right about Haru he always looks out for others take the Kisa lifting in air moment even though she didn't quite expect it hehe. And Rin also right she's protective and with those idiots around she'd have to be alert.

You're not alone in that hatred I can't stand them either what they did ugh. And then to be all innocent about it.

Shigure hurt a lot of people on his path didn't he? but you're right Rin does have a bond with him and he was always blunt with her wasn't he? it makes sense.

I have to like this one so much as I love thinking of their future's all of them really, I also enjoyed the breif Tohru mention of how birds still fly away from him. I know I already said it but you did the 'unwelcome' thing very well. Must be annoying to finally be free and then condemned by what you were once a part of.

*nods* He's always been good at looking out for people and at understanding them, and I think he grew up a lot towards the end of the series.

I like thinking about everyone's futures and where they'll go, too. ^_^ I really don't think I'll write any more fic that happens this much later, but it's fun to imagine them all.

And yeah, I think the way "their" animals turn away from them later on is a good touch in the series--something that means they'll never quite forget what they were, which makes sense.

i love how you capture Haru's love for Rin and Seika
and i know this is a dumb question but, have you made all these chapters up or do you re-write comics or something?

Thanks! I really love the thought of Haru as a parent. He seems like he'd be amazing at it. ^_^

All of the events in my fanfic are things I've made up, except where they refer back to specifics in the manga (or occasionally if the characters are remembering something specific). The only exception I can think of is that one of my Kiss entries is about the time Haru kissed Rin in vol. 12.
