Title: Not a Monster
Fandom: The Avengers (Movie-verse)

Pairing: Loki Laufeyson/Darcy Lewis (Romantic)

Disclaimer: I do not own The Avengers... sigh.
Summary: "What are you?" Darcy asked.
"What are you?" Darcy asked with her head tilted to the side. It was comforting to Loki that it did not seem that she was asking it maliciously, it seemed like she was genuinely curious.
Loki's skin had turned that familiar shade of blue again, for the first time since he had been on Midgard. Apparently, eating ice-cream with his newfound favourite mortal was not a wise thing for a Frost Giant disguised as an Asgardian to do.
"A Frost Giant. A Jotun. The monster parents tell their children about at night." Loki said, setting aside the cold Midgardian snack and letting his skin change back to it's usual colour.
Suddenly, arms were thrown around Loki's neck and the blue colour faded away even quicker. "Loki... I know you, you're not a monster." the Midgardian woman said, her cheek resting on Loki's shoulder. "No matter what anyone else says. You're not."
Loki again found himself comforted by the woman, and allowed himself to return the embrace.
