Title: Untitled
Author: Chibi Michi
Theme(s): Secret Santa
Summary: Usagi never liked any music but pop, but that all changed when she accompanied her friend, Misato, to a concert featuring a popular punk band.
Pairing/Characters: Usagi/Nobu
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon or Nana.

Notes: I will apologize right now, this isn't my best work. I didn't realize how my skills diminished in writing Sailor Moon crossovers. I had pretty much switched over to Kingdom Hearts for a while and now I had to try and write Usagi's character after several years, as well as write characters from Nana that I haven't really written before (Shin is excluded). So I hope this is to your liking samisweet.

"Misato-chan, do you really come here every concert?" asked a shivering blonde to her companion. She looked at the shorter blonde as she stood outside without showing the faintest trace of being cold, she was clutching a shopping bag as if it was the most precious treasure in the world.

Misato gave an affirmative nod. "Yes. BLAST is amazing! Seeing them live is a breathtaking experience!" she gushed. "I know you will love them Usagi-chan!"

Usagi let out a smile at the excited girl. It was hard to believe that she was two years younger than herself. "I've never been to a live concert before. In fact, I haven't listened to anything that could be considered punk! I'm a Minako Aino fan all the way."

Misato beamed up at Usagi, "It's ok Usagi-chan. Nana-san's voice is amazing. That alone will make you love the music. Look! Their letting us in."

Usagi stood on her tip toes and looked ahead to see that some people were disappearing inside the building. It was a good thing, Usagi wasn't sure how much longer she could stand out here without dying of pneumonia. Once they were let in, Misato led them to the front so that they could be right near the stage. Usagi laughed at her enthusiasm. It was a few more minutes before the lights dimmed. Usagi's eyes focused on the stage and the first one to come out was a short blonde boy, guitar in hand. Usagi stared in awe at the cool composure he maintained with every step.

"That's Nobu," stated Misato. The next one to exit was a tall skinhead, "And that's Yasu."

"Is he naturally bald?" questioned Usagi and Misato let out a small laugh at her comment.

Another male came out, about the same height as Yasu, "That's Ren." The last one to come out was a female, the only female, "And that's Nana!" exclaimed Misato as she screamed, tears filling her eyes as she looked up at her idol. Nana looked down from the stage and a huge grin spread across her face. If Usagi didn't know any better, she thought the grin was directed to Misato.

There was no doubt in Usagi's mind as to why Nana was so special to Misato, and many other fans in the audience. Nana possessed a certain charisma that Usagi could only dream of. Nana grabbed the mic, "Konban wa, BLAST desu."

The first chord was played by Nobu before the others joined in the intro. Then Nana started to sing. Misato moved to the sway of the bodies around them, and Usagi eventually joined in. She was starting to enjoy herself. Misato was right, Nana's voice was amazing, but the guitar player was even more amazing. Usagi knew nothing about music, but she wish that she did now.

BLAST performed three songs, the last song was version of a Sex Pistols' song called "Sixteen." Usagi didn't know who the Sex Pistols were but Misato gave a brief explanation for her afterwards. After the concert, Usagi was dragged to the backdoor with Misato (and several other fans) to await BLAST's exit. Usagi looked around the masses in awe. "Wow...all these people wait for them?" she asked outloud.

Misato nodded. "Yes. She brought her bag closer to her."

"Hey Misato-chan, what is in there?" asked Usagi. She had been meaning to ask Misato what was so important in there.

"A gift for Nana-san," she answered, her eyes still glued to the door.

"I almost feel like an outcast," whined Usagi as she realized she the only one who didn't attend the shows regularly.

"They're coming out!" exclaimed a fan.

The entire group squealed in delight. Nana was the first to leave, followed by her three bandmates. She had a cigarette in her hand as she surveyed the fans before her. "Damn! You guys waited out in this cold for us?!" she exclaimed, truly surprised.

Usagi let out a small laugh at Nana's mannerisms. Misato was jumping up and down beside her. "Nana-san!" she exclaimed, trying to get the singer's attention.

Nana saw Misato and walked over to her, the other three following. Usagi's eyes stayed glued to Nobu; she could feel butterflies in her stomach as he steadily approached them. "Ah, Misato-chan," greeted Nana.

"I got you something Nana-san!" stated Misato as she presented her gift to Nana.

Nana took the bag with the cigarette free hand. She looked at the text on the bag. "Vivienne Westwood!" she exclaimed in surprise. "Are you sure, Misato-chan? This is really expensive."

Misato blushed at the attention she was receiving. "Yes, it's fine. Nana-san and the others worked so hard on tonight's concert." As Misato conversed with Nana some of the other fans were glaring at her. Usagi didn't like her friend getting mean looks.

"Misato-chan," said Usagi warningly.

"Eh?! Is this your friend Misato?" exclaimed Nana. "You usually come to the concerts by yourself."

Misato brightened and shifted her attention to Usagi. "Yup, this is Usagi Tsukino, she's two years ahead of me."

Usagi smiled, "Hai, you guys were amazing."

"You really think so?!" exclaimed Nobu, thriving on the compliment.

Usagi blushed slightly. "Yes, you guys were really good. I usually listen to Minako Aino but I was really impressed by your songs!"

"I composed it and Nana wrote the lyrics," continued Nobu enthusiastically.

Ren chuckled and took a drag of his cigarette. "Don't let anyone tell you your not modest Nobu." Yasu let out a smile from Ren's comment.

"Well I wasn't sure if it was good enough and if someone who has never listened to punk music before," objected Nobu. Usagi smiled at Nobu's mannerisms, and ignored the glares that were now being focused on her.

Nana turned her attention back to Misato. "We have to get going. I'm glad you came Misato," she said as she gave Misato a kiss on the cheek, for which Misato promptly blushed. Nana gave a smile in Usagi's direction, "I'm glad you have someone to come with you now. Nice to meet you Usagi."

Usagi nodded. "Likewise." Ren, Nobu and Yasu bid the two farewell as they headed to a bar to get a drink, like every other time after a concert.

"Isn't she awesome, Usagi-chan?" gushed Misato.

"Yeah, she is," agreed Usagi. "Hey, can I come with you for the next concert?"

Misato squealed and hugged Usagi. "Of course you can Usagi-chan!"

Usagi joined Misato for every concert that BLAST had. Usagi was becoming a regular to the concert and would stand outside with the other fans awaiting for BLAST to exit. Each concert Nobu would talk with her more and more. Usagi figured it must be because he was proud that his songs made her a fan of their band. Usagi was idly jealous of Misato, who was able to bring something to Nana every concert as a "good job" present. Usagi wish she had money or some skills in making something for Nobu.

"Usagi-chan!"

Usagi turned from talking with Naru to see Misato approach her. "Hey Misato-chan."

Misato smiled at Usagi and Naru. "I haven't had a chance to see you around school as much."

Usagi laughed, "Yeah seeing as this is our last year the teachers just keep piling the homework. It's getting hard for me to ignore it all."

"Doesn't mean that's stopped her though," teased Naru.

"Whatever Naru-chan!" chided back Usagi.

"Usagi-chan, are coming to the concert this Saturday?" asked Misato. "I know you've been busy and I wanted to make sure..."

Usagi interrupted her, "Of course Misato-chan, I wouldn't miss it."

Naru looked at Usagi questioningly, "Is this that band you were telling me about?"

Usagi nodded. "Yup. Hey, you should come Naru-chan. I have been going to their concerts for a year, and they are amazing."

Naru shook her head. "No that's ok. I'll pass. Hey I need to get going, I'll see you around Usagi-chan, Misato-san." Naru waved goodbye to the two blondes as she went on her way.

"So let's meet up at 7 on Saturday, okay?" suggested Misato. Misato was about to leave but Usagi's voice stopped her.

"Hey Misato, you knitted Nana-san a scarf for the last concert right?" she asked, her voice slightly meek. Meek is not suppose to affiliated with Usagi Tsukino.

Misato nodded. "Yes I did!"

"Could...you teach me to knit a scarf...for Nobu-san..."

Misato's mouth formed into an 'o' shape and then she smiled at Usagi. "Usagi-chan...do you like Nobu-san?"

Usagi blushed slightly, "....Yes."

Misato smiled grew and she gave Usagi a reassuring hug. "Let's work on it after school."

Misato and Usagi bought the yarn and needles that afternoon and they stayed at Usagi's house knitting till late that evening. Even though Misato left Usagi kept working on knitting. She only got a third of the scarf done that night, after many frustrations. She took her yarn and needles with her to school the next day to work on it during break. Misato joined her, and gave advice when she could. By some miracle, the scarf was ready for the concert. Usagi made a small gift bag to put it in, and decorated a small rabbit, her insignia, on the front of it.

Usagi stood outside in the cold, waiting with other BLAST fans for the band to come out. Sure enough they did and a cheer erupted from the fans. Naturally, Nana spotted Misato and went over to her. This time Misato went even further with her gift. She got Nana another Vivienne Westwood shirt and a small cake.

"Misato, how can you afford this?" exclaimed Nana. "Are you rich?"

Misato giggled and passed off the question as nothing. Usagi shuffled nervously next to Misato, her small bag clutched in her hand. She was loosing her nerve. Misato gave a small nudge and gave Usagi a reassuring smile. Usagi approached Nobu, "Nobu-san, here," she said shyly.

Nobu was shocked and a small blush covered his cheeks. "Ah, thanks Usagi-chan." He opened the gift and pulled out a long blue scarf.

"It was my first attempt at making a scarf, I hope you like it," she said nervously.

Nobu held it up like a trophy. "You made it?! Its great Usagi-chan."

Usagi blushed. "Thanks.."

"Come on, we need to get going," said Yasu, urging the group along.

"Bai Misato-chan!" exclaimed Nana. "Thank you!" she said in English.

Misato waved by to them. Usagi looked nervously at Nobu and Nobu gave her a small smile as he placed the scarf she made him around his neck. Usagi smiled, glad to see him appreciate her gift. Usagi started to think of what else she could make Nobu, matching mittens would be perfect. She decided to go home and start on them immediately. Unfortunately, it was a wasted effort. Misato called her two days later to let her know that Ren left BLAST to go to Tokyo to join a band called Trapnest. BLAST was taking a break to find a bassist. But by the time they found a new bassist Usagi was unable to attend the concerts. She had to focus on her college entrance exams, and her mother started to become strict on her studies. As she studied the days away, she would look longingly at the half completed mittens on her shelf.

But as much as Usagi studied, she wasn't able to get into a University. She settled on attending a two year college. But once again, Usagi was too late. Nana had decided to go to Tokyo to try and make it on her own, which meant that BLAST was disbanding.

"I can't believe I wasted all that time studying! I missed almost a year's worth of concerts!" exclaimed Usagi as she ate her burger. Misato sat across from her, eating a salad.

"I'm sorry Usagi-chan," apologized Misato.

Usagi sighed, "It's okay. How is everything at school since I left?"

Misato nodded, "Everything is good. It's kinda quiet without you there."

Usagi laughed. "Come on, I wasn't that bad." Misato giggled along with Usagi as they reminisced about old times when Usagi was with her in school.

Misato and Usagi met every week to have lunch together and to hang out. Usagi knew that Misato didn't have many friend in school. It was one of the reasons that Usagi befriended her, she felt bad for her eating lunch by herself one day and decided to join her. It was great that the two of them got along so great. And then Misato took her to that BLAST concert where she became a fan of BLAST.

Usagi smiled as she saw Misato running up to her. "Usagi-chan!"

"Hey Misato!"

"Usagi-chan! Guess what?"

"What?" she asked.

"BLAST is doing a concert in Tokyo!" she exclaimed.

"They are?!"

Misato nodded. "Yup! Nana, Nobu and Yasu found a bassist in Tokyo and they have a concert. Nana just called and told me!" squealed Misato. She latched to Usagi's arm. "Let's go to Tokyo and see that concert!"

Usagi grinned, "Yes! Let's go!"

It looks like I can give Nobu those mittens, thought Usagi.
