Nothing moved, all that surrounded her was impregnable silence and death. The black boots made no noise as it pressed down upon the thick marble floor. Gone was the normal sound of someone walking across something smooth. The sound non-existent as she began to run. Where was the terror of her heartbeat or the gasps of pain? All of it was missing, the only thing left were her and the corpses. Even they wouldn’t move or confirm their existence. Where was she? Answers were as vacant as the life, none within reach.

The lights flickered over head, mocking the path she was trying to take. Double doors soon appeared, signaling the exit. Bloody hands pushed down the lever. The doors swung open as if on cue, allowing her to see inside. Against her will, two padded feet carried her into the hallway. Finally, a sound came, harsh and ear penetrating. The doors closed off her former path, only to disappear. A wall stood before her, leaving her only one choice.

As she spun to proceed a figure formed, shimmering into a solid shape. It was distorted, nothing more than a red patch of movement. Somehow she knew it was a person but they were walking away. She called out, the parted lips repeating one word, "Wait." The figure kept moving steadily away from her no matter how fast she ran. The fear of being stuck alone consumed her as the person was making distance between them. Panic at the thought of being left behind made her move faster, picking up the pace. The marble turned to black carpet causing her to stumble. Quickly righting herself she continued the pursuit.

The corridor kept going, there was no end to it. The person was barely a tiny speck in her vision now. They were going faster, leaving her in the dust. How? She couldn’t give up, not now. Not when she’d finally found someone else alive in this hell. Tears streamed down her face, fire began to rent through her thighs. How long had she been running? As if the mute button had been lifted she heard her own voice screaming, "Come back, come back."

Tifa jerked up in bed, the pounding penetrating her foggy mind. Breathing was difficult as her brain cleared. Her ears were working more than okay, the banging intensifying. Taking a deep breath she wiped the sweat from her brow. The recess of her mouth was parched, dry from labored breathing. Cloud’s voice came from the other side, asking if she were okay. "I’m find go back to bed."

Answering the ‘Are you sure’, she took a deep breath. It was only a dream, nothing more. The reality of it still had her emotions running rampant. Blood rushed in her temples, bringing on a migraine. Giving up, she walked towards the door. She needed something for the headache and a glass of water. After that dream she could use a stiff drink. Cloud was spotted heading into the bathroom as she went downstairs. Another hour and it’d be dawn. No sense in going back to bed. There was little chance of slumber finding her anyways.

It took her several minutes to locate the pain pills. Leave it to Cloud to place it in with the seasonings instead of back in the medicine cabinet. Running the tap, she swallowed two of the pills as the blonde came into the kitchen. He looked as worn out as she. She knew his wasn’t from strange dreams. Most likely he’d been up thinking about her again. Didn’t matter if he forgave himself for his death, he still loved her. He was still holding onto his memories. Would he ever let go of the past and focus on his future? She knew they’d never have one but that was okay. "Can’t sleep either?"

"I got some. Have to head out early today. Got a delivery to make in Wutai, I’ll be gone for a while." He sat down on the worn stool, the leather creaking under the weight. Only the one light burned, giving the room a slight overcast. In the dimness he could make out the dark circles under her eyes. The slim shoulders were slumped in defeat. "Why don’t you take a break? You could use it."

"Yeah, I think I will. I’ll have to close up the bar for a few days. Maybe hit the coast or something, a nice break." The idea had merit, anything to help her relax for a while. The bar wouldn’t go under if she took some time to enjoy life. A break from Cloud would be nice as well. She’d been wanting him to come around more often but wasn’t so sure anymore. His presence was a welcomed one but solemn at best. The man really needed to get over his loss. Everyone had lost loved ones due to Shinra and Sephiroth, he was no different. "Think Costa del Sol will be the perfect place to head to."

The sun felt incredible as she turned over in the two piece. The soft blue cotton was thin but covered the goods and would allow for a nice tan. Her long brown hair was piled high in a tight bun. The white beach towel kept sand from coating her heated flesh while she dozed. It was her second day of vacation, it was blissful. The beach was full of people enjoying the water. Kids played to her right, bouncing a rather large ball between them. It made her miss Marlene but the girl was spending time with Barrett. This should be her alone time in which to focus on nothing but fun.

A shadow fell over her suddenly blocking the heat. Ire filled her as she opened her eyes. What rude ass would stand over her intentionally blocking her rays? Red mako orbs were staring down at her in confusion. Seeing the former turk was a shock but welcomed. They’d always gotten along to a point. He was just as sappy as Cloud, mourning over a dead woman. She was all for loving someone but was it really possible to love someone that much. To the extent that after they are gone you have no wish to live without them? "Vincent, you are blocking my sun. I have no wish to be as pale as you, so do you mind?"

"Hn, too much isn’t good for you. Where’s Cloud?" For a second he envied the girl’s state of dress. The heat of the place was getting to him. He was in his normal clothing, the material bearing down on his person. Coming here had been an after thought on his journey. Seeing the martial artist was a pleasant surprise. A smirk appeared when she scoffed at the question, "Not here I take it?"

"No, why would he be? What are you doing here? Wait before you answer let me get up. I won’t be getting a tan with you standing over me. I was thinking about getting some food anyways." She pulled herself up into a sitting position. What had brought the solemn man there? Grabbing her few belongings she fell in step behind him. His shoulders were squared, stiff as he walked. Was something bothering him? "So what brought you here?"

"A journey." He tried to leave it at that but the girl wasn’t having it. He could see the questions lingering in her eyes. As much as he respected the girl he wouldn’t drag her into his own problems. She probably had enough on her own. "What are you doing here?"

"Was taking a break from everything. Was hoping for a tan but not really getting anywhere." She noticed how most people skirted around with a wide berth. The man really wasn’t that scary. His outfit was a little outdated but he was nice looking if you were into weird guys. "Feel up to getting a drink?"

"Sure, I take it you are supplying." A her cocky grin, he frowned. Didn’t the girl believe in leaving business at the work place. It would save him some gil so he wouldn’t complain. The walk led them into her inn room. It was small with only one bed. His body felt in control so he allowed himself to get comfortable. Could he tell the girl what was eating at him? She’d offer to help in any way she could but it would be dangerous in many ways.

Tifa knew the accommodations weren’t that nice but all she could afford without blowing all her savings. The was a small bed large enough for one person, a small bathroom which consisted of a toilet and shower, and a eating table. The sheets were clean and the bathroom didn’t reek, it would do for now. She noticed the way his eyes had a strange glow to them, stranger than normal. "Are you okay?"

"Sort of," he took the drink being offered. Watching the way her hands worked without pause. He’d always admired the young girl and Cloud. It was obvious that she was smitten with the man. She was beautiful with a ripe body and the man hadn’t touched her yet. His eyes glued on the hand wrapped around the small glass. His mind shifted imagining what else she could do with the slim fingers. Taking a deep breath, he tried to get his thoughts back in the right direction.

"You look stressed, wanna tell me what’s wrong?" She noticed the death grip he had on the glass. What was ailing the pale man? A line of sweat had formed over his upper lip and brow. Yeah, something was bothering him. It must have something to do with the reason he was out here. Sitting down on the bed, she took a sip of the liquor. "So?"

"I’ve found myself in a rather odd predicament, nothing more." His eyes fell to the sway of her breasts as she leaned over to peer at him. Panic filled him as his body responded at the tempting cleavage. She had to put some clothes on and soon. Or he’d have to walk out the door. "Don’t you have anything else to wear?"

"Why?" She frowned at the question. What was wrong with her bikini? It was no worse than what other women wore. So what was his deal? A strange look crossed his face, one she’d seen before. Right before he transformed but something was missing. He looked to be trying to control something. "Do you want to tell me what’s wrong or should I call the others and let them know something is up with you?"

"Hn, you are being more annoying than the other girl. I have found myself to have strong urges of late, some in which I can’t control. Others, I can manage to ride out." The ache in his groin intensified as she leaned back. His eyes latched onto the pert nipples that jutted out of the thin material. The inner recesses of his mouth went dry as she stretched pushing the large globes forward. "I must leave."

"Why?" She frowned as he stood. Had she done something to make him rush off? What strong urges was he talking about? She stood up, not wanting him to leave. He remained stiff as she walked over to the chair in which he was sitting. Squatting down she placed a hand upon his shoulder. "Whatever it is you can tell me. We’re friends, aren’t we."

She gasped as bright red eyes turned up to catch hers. Panic didn’t have time to set before he pounced. She was tackled to the floor, landing harshly on her back. Disbelief crossed her features as the metal hand yanked the bikini top off. What the hell was he doing? A hot mouth latched onto her right nipple. Her hand went into his hair, fisting a handful of the thick strands. Her back arched as the bud tightened under the flickering tongue. The ache began in her lower region as she tried to talk to him. "Vincent, what are you doing?"

He didn’t bother to answer, lost in the grips of his lust. His hand held the perky mound, his tongue bathing the hard peak. When she made no move to stop him, his other hand ran down the flat belly. She appeared more confused than worried to tell him to stop. The thighs parted letting the hand press into the bottom. The first feel of the folds made a menacing growl erupt from his throat.

Tifa stiffened when he forced his finger in the soft passage. His mouth was still working over her breast, the finger now working within her. The hold on his hair softened as fluid rushed from her center. The metal hand massaged one breast, while his mouth attacked the other. Confusion roared in her mind, why was he touching her? Why was she allowing it? His thumb found the jewel buried between the slick folds. White heat washed over her being, getting lost in what he was doing. "Vincent."

He heard the worry in her voice but she still didn’t fight him. The moisture around his finger made his member ache. Knowing that she was already ready for him to take her, he added another finger. That made the hips leave the floor, her thrusting up to meet the hand. If she didn’t do something drastic, he knew he wasn’t going to stop until he took her. "Tifa, if you don’t want me to take you, I suggest you get up now and go."

She sought his eyes and saw him fighting for control. The thumb brushed harder across her clit making her cry out. Did she want to get up? Or let him continue what he was doing? Her body screamed it was perfectly fine where it was at. Her mind knew he was trying to offer her the chance to get away. She reached up unlatching the many belts of the long red cloak. Yanking it to the side, she began pulling up the shirt. His torso leaned up, helping her get the clothes off. The first glimpse of his chest made her walls tighten in anticipation. The chest was well formed, pale and covered in scars. Her thumbs found the twin peaks, his breath hissing between clenched teeth. "I’ll stay."

With that said his hands went for the bikini bottom pulling it down her slim legs. She waited patiently as he took the boots and pants off in under a minute. Tifa gasped as the male member sprang free, standing proudly away from his body. He was completely nude except for the metal covering his hand. There was no panic only wonder of what was to come. Her knees were pushed apart and up exposing herself to him. There was nothing romantic or caring about the way he positioned himself at the entrance to her body.

Knowing it would go better and less painful she relaxed. With a harsh thrust of his hips, the thickness began to fill her. The stretching sensation caused searing heat as he pushed into the untried passage. Her hands went to his shoulders, the nails digging into the pale flesh. It wasn’t painful as she expected but uncomfortable. Holding himself up over her smaller body, he began to move. There was no time for her to adjust, he was riding her. The friction was pleasant, the initial shock beginning to wear off. Closing her eyes she tried to stay relaxed.

His lust rode him strong, needing to find fulfillment. The girl was tight around him, gripping him hard. The large breasts bounced as he slammed at a fast pace. Her moans filled the small inn room. He was going to cum soon. He’d been trying to deny this craving for too long. The slim hips lifted off the floor, arching into his motions. His cock sunk deeper, filling the wet hole. With a loud moan his essence began to escape him.

Tifa swore when he collapsed on top of her. She’d heard men often fell asleep afterwards but this was ridiculous. Applying her hand to his forehead she noticed he was cold to the touch. His earlier words came back to her and his state. Urges? Was something wrong with the solemn man? Was it something she could help with. Besides letting his do what he’d just done.

He was heavy as she rolled him off. The metal hand hit the floor with an audible thud. Knowing he didn’t care about sleeping on the floor, she still couldn’t leave him there. The next ten minutes were spent getting him on the bed. After placing a sheet over his pale nakedness, she went to find some clothes. She needed a shower and some food, then she’d wait for him to wake up. Then they would have a long talk.
