It was a bright, clear-sky day in Konoha when Ino and Naruto decided they should go to the lake.
Sakura protested on the grounds of practicality, or duty, insisting that there must be a mission, or a job, but Ino assured her the flower shop was taken care of and her teammates were busy; Naruto had no missions, and it was a peaceful day. It was Sakura's day off from the hospital, too, they insisted, and she should enjoy it! In the end, she relented to their boundless enthusiasm.
Hinata, on the other hand, was tied by the force of her modesty. That obstacle was removed by shameless flattery, and showing her just how nice her body was.
So before they knew it [and before protests could begin anew], they were at the water's edge. Naruto had already stripped down to his boxers, with his fishing poll slung over his broad, sun-darkened shoulder. He, unlike the rest, hadn't bothered to put on an actual swimsuit, primarily because he didn't own one, much to Ino's chagrin. And she was, in fact, looking at him, distastefully.
"If you have to wear boxers, can't they at least look good?" she scoffed, stripping down to her own slinky black bikini. She practically strutted her way past Naruto to the water's edge, causing him to stop and stare a moment.
"What's wrong with my boxers?" he finally asked, indignant even as he shameless ogled her.
"They're ugly," she sighed, stepping into the water and throwing her hair over her shoulder. "Lime green and orange? Ugh!"
"Yeah, well...I like 'em just fine," Naruto grumbled, crossing his arms and turning away from her with a huff.
"You two," Sakura sighed as she walked forward. Never one to be outdone by her old friend, she was dressed only slightly more conservatively than Ino. "Leave him be, Ino."
"I'm just trying to get him to dress more respectably," Ino huffed.
"He can dress how he wants."
"Not if it's ugly!"
"Lay off my boyfriend, porker!"
"He's my boyfriend too, forehead girl!"
Naruto had long ago left them and their squabbling behind, and sighed and shook his head at the loud splash announcing their descent into physical fighting as he stepped onto the small wooden dock. Turning his head lightly, he saw Ino spring up from the water, forcing a thrashing Sakura down. He was tempted to yell at Ino not to kill her or anything, but when Sakura sent her flying back with a powerful toss, he decided he probably didn't have to. So, he sat himself down cross-legged on the edge of the plank-bridge and started baiting his hook.
When he finally cast his line and saw it dip into the water, he looked around and realized he'd seen neither hide nor hair of Hinata since they'd arrived.
"Hinata?" he called. "You coming out?"
A muffled squeak came from the forest that lined the lake's bank and Naruto grinned slightly. Slowly, she edged her way out, large baggy jacket still on. He wouldn't have even known she was wearing a swimsuit if it wasn't for her naked legs, and the purple bottom he could just barely see under the jacket's hem.
Ino slowly paddled over to the dock and propped herself up on her forearms, looking over in Hinata's direction. She clucked her tongue disapprovingly. "Come on, Hinata!" she called. "Show Naruto that suit I picked out for you!"
Naruto blinked, and Hinata's blush deepened.
Sakura scoffed and swam over as well, leaning back on her shoulders and kicking lazily as she rested against the pier. "Why do you have to get in everyone's business all the time, Ino?"
"Because I love them," Ino said simply, rolling her eyes as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, and who was Sakura to think to question her? "And Hinata deserves to show off her lovely body~" she added, throwing a wink at the other girl, garnering another blush and a 'Meep!' of surprise.
"No disagreements here!" Naruto called out as well, although his eyes were still trained on the fishing line. He was pretty sure there were fish in this lake. Pretty sure.
"Well, I suppose I can understand that," Sakura said, nodding, with a playful grin on her face now that she was playing along.
"You...You guys!" Hinata stammered, turning a dark shade of red as she tried to shrink further inside her jacket.
"We're just telling the truth," Ino cooed, fluttering her eyelashes. "Now, come on, do we have to go over there and make you take off the jacket?"
"B-But..."
"No buts!" Ino cut her off quickly. "You have an amazing body, Hinata, and no one's around, so what are you worried about? I promise, there's absolutely nothing none of us haven't already seen plenty of."
"I-Ino!"
"Fine, fine," Naruto grumbled, standing up slowly. "If it'll make you feel better, Hinata, I'll take something off, too!" And before anyone could protest, he was hooking his thumbs into the waistbands of his boxers and then jerking them down, letting them fall around his ankles and leaving him naked in the late morning sunlight. There was a moment of silence, Hinata in utter shock and Ino taking the time to admire his deliciously toned bum, before Sakura shoved him into the lake.
"Pervert!" she yelped, and leaned up to jab him in the backs of his knees. "Put that away!"
He hit the water with a loud splash, water dripping from his drooping spikes of hair when he finally surfaced, blinking and disoriented. Then he grinned, wide and goofy and oh so earnestly Naruto. "See, Hinata? It's not so bad! And at least you'll still have somethin' on!"
Hinata, however, was suddenly overcome with a fit of giggles at his antics, doubled over and clutching at herself as the tinkling, chime-like sound of laughter bubbled forth, champagne clear in the quiet, peaceful lake. Dark hair spilled forth over her face, hiding all but the angelic curve of her smile as she buckled. Slowly she gathered her composure again, and stood up again, brushing the hair from her face, still red but now from mirth, not embarrassment. And when her face was clear and voice stilled again, she tugged down the zipper to her jacket and let it slide off her shoulders, revealing a nigh-scandalously clingy purple one-piece.
Ino wolf-whistled, and Sakura dunked her underwater while Hinata smiled awkwardly.
"Come on in!" was Naruto's request as he swam away from the two tussling girls. Her smile became more genuine, and she walked slowly down the pier towards him, slipping into the water when she reached the end of it. He aided her in, holding her waist gently as her legs dipped into the water. Her arms slowly draped around his broad shoulders, pale skin stark against his tanned, and his eyes sparkled warmly. "Beautiful."
"You're too sweet," she sighed, and leaning in, nose rubbing against his in an innocently affectionate gesture. Tentatively, he tilted his head to line his lips with hers, and she moved in to kiss him lightly, a lingering peck that made her lips tingle slightly.
The moment was interrupted, however, when Ino shoved Sakura at Naruto's chest, jolting Hinata aside in the process.
"Hold this," the blonde growled. Naruto grabbed her around the middle on impulse, and Ino flashed a bright smile. "Thank you. Now, as for you, Little Miss Modest!"
Hinata gasped as Ino whirled on her, shrinking back slightly. "Y-Yes, In - mmph!?"
She was abruptly cut off, though, as Ino's lips covered hers, turning her words into muffled groans. She shuddered as Ino's arms slowly wrapped around her, delicate fingers tracing over the bare skin of her back, and leaned against the blonde, the whirl of instinct wiping through her mind to silence any protests that might've arisen. The heat of Ino's skin stood in stark contrast to the cool water around her and she pressed in tighter to feel it more, clutching at her narrow shoulders, half-spoken words replaced with half-moaned sighs of pleasure.
With the slowness of the truly reluctant, Ino pulled back, sucking gently on Hinata's bottom lip before removing her mouth completely, tongue snaking out to lick both her and Hinata's lips. She smirked, catlike and smug, reaching up to rub her knuckles over Hinata's cheek, the other girl leaning in with a sated smile, eyes closed and lips barely parted.
"What...was that?" Sakura asked, blinking slowly. Naruto was still holding her, gaping limply over his shoulder.
"Just repaying Hinata for looking so good," Ino purred. "I just can't seem to keep my hands off her right now, can you?"
She and Naruto traded a look, his eyes filling with devilish glee.
"Well," he began. "I suppose..."
Whatever he supposed, though, was left behind as the fishing pole suddenly jerked out of its lazy rest on the dock and shoot past his skull, the end striking him squarely between the eyes. With an undignified yelp, he fell back in the water. Sakura, still in his grasp, squawked loudly as she was jerked under as well. Naruto's head popped up quickly, and he looked mournfully after the pole as it skidded across the water, crushing defeat in his eyes.
"My fishing pole..." he whined, reaching out limply but making no move to chase it. "I coulda caught lunch!"
"Aw, poor Naru," Ino cooed, swimming up behind him and draping herself over his shoulder. Sakura surfaced at the same time, looking sourly at the back of Naruto's head until Ino caught her eye with a wink. "I think you need something to take your mind off it."
"Eh?"
"Yeah," Sakura agreed, sensual edge creeping into her tone as she mirrored Ino's pose. "I think I've got a good idea, too..."
"Yeah?" Naruto urged on, ideas beginning to dance within his mind.
"Mmhm," Ino replied, nodding.
Sakura and Ino both agreed that Naruto made the best noises when they forced him underwater.
