[Looks around, and realizes he was sleeping.] It felt so real... augh! [Clutches his shoulder, and takes a deep breath.]

[He stands, and goes to the bathroom, looking at his shoulder in the mirror.] How did I get that?...

I'm guessing you've never had a dream like that before, then. I heard this city has a tendency to be pretty weird, too; think it has anything to do with it?

[shrugs] I'd hope so. I know I wouldn't want creepy dreams and bruises that only I could see to stick around. Has there been stuff that never went away before?

The only things I can think of that didn't go away were... the markings, and, so far, that child who stole my dragon powers.
