Writer wanting to practice art wants a fellow that will practice with~
Well, this is my first actual post here. I've lurked and responded to some of the needs of others. But I've had something that's been nagging at me for a time and figured I'd post here.
I have always wanted to better myself at being an artist. In my mind and on paper I have a ton of ideas that I want to turn into webcomics. But I've found a lot of problems with trying to team up with artist friends of mine. So rather than put them through that kind of stress, I really want to study art and better myself.
So mainly what I'm looking for is a partner that can keep me accountable and be accountable to me. An example being that if we both suck at art, we'll slowly work together in bettering ourselves. Some of this is done by studying art books from the library, and other tasks would be sketching/drawing something and showing it to the other person via scan or photo.
I'm not sure if I'll get anyone to respond to this, as to me, it sounds like an odd request. But it would be really cool to have a person--or several people if that's how it turns out--that wants to also practice drawing and sketching.
